loads of fruit

i'm eating a lot more fruit in london than i ever did in new york. the fruits just look and taste a whole lot better. in manhattan, the fruits at the farmers' market at union square and wholefoods were gorgeous and delicious but in london even the ordinary fruit cart outside farringdon station has fresh and totally irrestible fruit that's just waiting to be consumed. as a result, i find myself eating plenty of nectarines, cherries, tangerines, crunchy and juicy green grapes and pink lady apples to name a few. the fruits are so good on their own that i rarely have any left over to use for puddings or crumbles. good news for my waistline, i guess!

fruits are very good for one's health and excess of it should not do much harm.having said that, like in everything else balance in what we eat is important.just like fruits, i am sure you will be getting fresh vegetables too.if you can cultivate the habit of eating plenty of greens,it wii do you loads of good over and above what the fruits will be doing to will be able to make out from the smoothness of your facial skin to the extra sparkle in your eyes.and of course as you say it is good news for your waistline.

Coincidence:I also started eating more fruits after moving to Paris.Eating those tastless fruits in Bay Area supermarkets(that too they always sell a pack of 20 or more) was challenging with the exception of Wholefoods. In smaller shops in Paris it is easier to pick and chose.I also found I liked fruits but only someone peeled and dressed them for me.I luff comports(is that how you spell it?)

Wow! I'm crazy about fruits and raw veggies too. In fact, my snack cravings are usually- steamed broccoli, raw carrots with hummus dip and delicious fruits. But fruits here in Texas hardly taste as good as the ones vendors sell back home. Lucky you!

ah paris - i'm sure that it is a much better food city than london. the french are really into food. i'm reading that popular book "why french women don't get fat" and it's been really eye-opening in terms of making samrt food choices!

I too found that the fruits in UK tasted far better than the ones in US. Wonder why?

Because of this, we always buy organic fruits in US.

Good for you to eat so many fruits! Keep up the good work!

To lostandfound, I think you mean 'fruit compote'
