hello! welcome to my blog. my name is lulu. i'm a brand consultant by day and a bon vivant by night. two of my greatest passions are food and travel. i started this blog when i moved from san francisco to new york in 2004 as a way to record my food and travel experiences forever. since then i have relocated along with my husband from new york to london to bombay where we are now comfortably settled and totally loving life. that's why my blog went from being called lulu loves manhattan to lulu loves london to now lulu loves bombay. i have two baby girls (r1 and r2) under age six who absolutely love to cook and travel with me. you will meet them every now and then in my posts. i've really enjoyed getting to know so many of my readers over the years. i hope that this blog inspires you to try some new foods or go some places you've never been before. i'd love to hear from you and can be reached at lululovesbombay@gmail.com.

Hi. I am currently writing a master's degree dissertation about the importance of food to memory and identity.
I have chosen to focus on the Indian/Bengali/Bangladeshi community in London, and am wondering if you would be willing to talk to (or e-mail) me about the role that food plays in your life. The information you give to me could be anything to do with food-- that a certain recipe brings back a memory of childhood, or that you are a mum and feel it important to feed your family traditional food (or maybe you have decided to get rid of traditional cooking from your home all together), or maybe you have an opinion about the difference between the food served in curry houses and "authentic" cuisine.
I realise you have moved from London, but would still love to hear from you. I would be incredibly thankful for any stories that you have to share. I also wonder if you know of any other bloggers that might be interested in sharing their stories? Thank you so much for your time in reading this.

You mentioned the word responsibility. Your government is directly responsible for the many deaths in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Lebanon and in many other parts of the world. Obama cannot change the world but we will try to change US policy. If you keep on supporting Israel, do not leave Iraq and Afghanistan we will do the followings: we will kill your ambassadors and their families, ceos of your companies and their families and other prominent personalities and then we will tell their families to sue the US government. No suicide bombers but we will employ snipers to kill those targets. Like in Iraq we will have our own ace, king, queen, jack etc. It will like candid camera, it can happen anytime and in any part of the world. Just wait for the surprises.
